Linda is a prominent Utah painter currently living in Holladay, UT. She has been painting for as long as she can remember, and was originally taught by her mother using watercolors. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in painting, and has been in numerous local and national exhibitions since graduating. Her bold use of bright color is what distinguishes her work. “I paint to say something. I paint because there is color. I paint because there is beauty and there is power in symbols.” Her artwork is part of the Springville Museum of Art, Church Museum of History and Art, Stanford Hospital: Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital, Utah State Art Collection, and BYU Harold B. Lee Library permanent collections. She exhibited at the Harold B. Lee Library in 2001 and 2015.
