These images are not photographs so much as they are sketches in a diary. I did not plan them or create them. They are compositions that I came across and found attractive. They were taken from a hunter/gatherer approach, in that I saw them and accepted them. My love of the formal elements of art allowed me to see these compositions as beautiful. These “sketches” differ from most of the work I do which is very planned and controlled. They were a chance for me to let go and interpret the scene instinctively. They are postcards of my travels. A diary. They are impulsive, fast, and free.
