"For me, art is more about looking than painting. I don’t just want to paint for painting's sake. I want art to help me recognize the glimpses of Heaven I see here on earth. To do art is to glorify a moment. It is to be grateful. It is to care enough to sit still with the tiniest glimpse of life. To stay with something and give it a voice to be heard is to love."

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Emma is a dynamic artist interested in the intersection of art and positive psychology. Her diverse educational background, which includes a degree in Art Education with a minor in Psychology and Entrepreneurship from Brigham Young University, has profoundly influenced her creative process. As the host of an art podcast on Spotify (EB BLOGS), Emma engages a wide audience, providing insightful commentary and interviews with artists from various backgrounds. With an internship under acclaimed artist Colby Sanford and experience teaching art to troubled youth at Creative Connections, Emma has honed her skills and developed a unique perspective on the art world. Her work invites viewers on a journey of introspection and discovery, inviting viewers to savor the good through the glimpses of life she portrays in her works.
