McCall Keller is a senior in the BFA Graphic Design program. He is interested in researching the design of cutting edge electric products and their contribution to a more sustainable earth. Industries like the automobile industry, which were once dominated by gas engines causing major harm to our atmosphere and ecosystem, are finally producing electric vehicles and other products for mainstream use after decades of study and exploration.

McCall applied the design principles discovered through his research into an actual object. One of his great passions in life is motorcycles. He used the skills gained in working with bikes combined with research findings to build an electric bike. The resulting bike is an effective visual representation of the value in innovation and aesthetic, and how the two can be intertwined.

With this project, he hopes to inspire other designers to begin working more closely with professionals who are developing electric products and paving the way to a more sustainable future.
