In Red Herring, our group from Brigham Young University’s sculpture studio has organized an exhibition based on tricks, false starts, decoys, smoke screens, wild-goose chases, beating around the bush, slippery slopes, side-lines, ploys, lures, deviations, devices, and diversions.

We aim to give the observer a peripheral view of art, which walks the line between significance and banality.

We are extracting meaning from duplicity and illusion.
