What a person chooses to wear reveals much about their tastes, temperament, and personality. When I look at a piece of clothing I see much more than lifeless fabric; I see a fascinating life and a distinct story. Clothing is one of the unique remnants left behind when people pass away. These intimate and personal belongings give insight into the lives of those who wore them.

I come from a line of great personalities. The clothing that each left behind makes their stories and lives real and tangible to generations far removed. Each ancestor contributed in their own way to my heritage. I hope to contribute to this legacy through my art, and in some small way pay tribute to those who have shaped and influenced my life.
