This exhibition is an exploration of our relationship with nature and the many creative ways we find to get back to its therapeutic surroundings. From cliff jumping to Salt Flats car racing, the desire to be in our natural surroundings is born into the human experience.

Mark Hedengren was the recipient of the Utah Visual Arts Fellowship in 2013. He has published two books: The Mormons (2010) and Ansel Adams and Dorothea Lange’s Three Mormon Towns (2012.) Mark has exhibited nationally and internationally. He studied photography at Brigham Young University and has an MFA from the Glasgow School of Art.
