This exhibit brings together 20 works of book art, by various bookbinders and book artists in Utah. These books include fine leather binding, design binding, fine press printing, artist books, and sculptural book works. They may represent an expression of the artist’s beliefs and opinions, a clever depiction of the book’s text, or simply the artist’s desire to make a beautiful thing. Whatever their objective, these artists use the book form as their medium for expressing themselves, which may change your notion of what a book is.
